The RFC is among the world’s top 10 toughest motor sport events. This is where the toughest guys bring out their toughest machines and compete in the toughest possible environment – the rainforest during the monsoon season!

If this is the first time that you are hearing of the RFC, the following are some reasons why this is probably the coolest off-road event.

Since the event was organised in 1997, this annual event takes place in the merciless rainforest where the drivers of participating teams race each other over rocky and muddy terrain, slippery slopes and raging rivers.

By making it to the list of the toughest motor races, RFC picked up numerous recognition highlights along the way. These include ‘Malaysia’s Top 10 Most Spectacular Sports Tourism Event’ by the Malaysia Tourism Council, ‘Among the Top 10 Toughest Motor Races in the World’ by US Gawker Media, ‘Most number of 4×4 vehicles assembled in one venue (927 vehicles)’ and ‘Most number of countries participating in a 4×4 event (27 nations)’ by the Malaysia Book of Records.

This year’s RFC attracted participants from more than 30 countries from the Asia Pacific, Africa, North and South America, and Europe.

The key to winning in the RFC is to make it to the end. Hence, all participating 4×4 vehicles are heavily modified to achieve wonders that one could ever imagine in the forest.

Powerful vehicles require powerful parts. With the extraordinary gripping force from Bendix Metal King, the two-time winning team took on the highly challenging terrain with great confidence to achieve the desired hat-trick victory that no one had ever achieve in the 21 years of the RFC history.
