Nexen Tire’s Roadian HTX2 is the OE choice for the Kia Tasman pickup in Latin America, offering off-road traction and driving stability.

Nexen Tire has announced that its all-season tyre, the Roadian HTX2, has been selected as original equipment for the all-new Kia Tasman. The all-terrain tyre, designed for both on-road comfort and off-road performance, will be fitted on Tasman pickup trucks exported to Latin America.
“This OE selection highlights Nexen Tire’s recognised technological capabilities and product quality in the global SUV and pickup segment,” the company noted in its official statement.
The 3D Kerf, Nexen Tire‘s patented pattern, is featured on the Roadian HTX2. According to the company’s website, the 3D Kerf pattern enhances the tyre’s traction and snow performance. Meanwhile, a “heat-dissipating structure”, optimised for high-load vehicles like the Tasman, improves high-speed durability. The tyre’s compound was specially tailored for pickup trucks that demand strength, driving stability, and wear resistance.
Nexen Tire has also designed the Roadian HTX2 to handle the harsh road conditions of Latin America, including mountains, deserts, and snowy routes. The tyre has passed cross-validation wear tests in North America and Korea, as well as deep groove off-road testing with 200mm surface irregularities and 20 per cent inclines.
