Linglong Tire celebrates 50 years of innovation with global events in London and Madrid, strengthening its global brand presence.

Next Stop after London and Madrid: China

Linglong Tire is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and the first celebration stop was held in London, United Kingdom, last month, before it continued in Madrid, Spain, earlier this month.

During the London event, nearly 200 Linglong Tire distributors from Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and other regions around the world gathered to celebrate the company’s important milestone.

“Over the past five decades, we have grown from a local enterprise into a multinational corporation with seven production bases worldwide. This is not only a pride for Linglong but also a solid step forward in contributing to the global mobility ecosystem,” said Wang Feng, Chairman of Linglong Tire, in his celebratory speech.

The event in London saw Wang Feng reviewing Linglong Tire‘s half-century journey from a local company to a global powerhouse through the Linglong Tire 50th Anniversary Special Report. Xu Yongchao, Vice President of Linglong Tire, continued the presentation by elaborating on the company’s global layout and performance progress in major global markets. A representative from Linglong Germany then introduced the company’s innovations in tyre R&D and future product plans. Lastly, Linglong Tire showed its appreciation to its global partners by presenting awards in four categories.

The Premier League match between Chelsea and Brighton and Hove Albion, held at Stamford Bridge, London, became the highlight of Linglong Tire‘s 50th anniversary celebration in the UK. Since 2024, Linglong has been Chelsea FC’s official global partner, and, during the match, the company’s logo can be seen around the stadium.

Roberto Carlos as Special Guest  in Madrid

In Madrid, Linglong Tire‘s 50th anniversary celebration turned into a special event thanks to the appearance of Real Madrid and Brazil legend, Roberto Carlos. Just like in the UK, Linglong Tire also leveraged its presence in football to celebrate its golden anniversary.

The company invited its guests, comprising over 200 distributors, to attend the La Liga match between Real Madrid and Villarreal at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid, where the “Linglong 50 Years” logo was visible around the arena.

Linglong Tire and Real Madrid have been partners, also since 2024. For the Chinese tyre makers, a collaboration with an entity like Real Madrid reflects its continuous efforts to deepen its presence in the European and global high-end markets.

To date, the company’s products cover 173 countries worldwide, with a global sales network of nearly 200,000 points. Overseas business constitutes half of Linglong‘s business portfolio, serving as a crucial growth driver for achieving its “2030 Strategic Goals.” It has also gained recognition from numerou internationally renowned OEMs and successfully entered the supply systems of mainstream automakers in Europe and America, confirming it as a global brand.

Looking ahead, Linglong Tire aims to continue leveraging its six core competencies, Strategic Power, Innovation Power, Product Power, Organisational Power, Marketing Power, and Brand Power, to best serve its customers. The company is also ready to tackle the challenges of industry transformation by ensuring “continuous technological innovation, excellent product quality, and an efficient service system”.

After London and Madrid, Linglong Tire will continue its 50th anniversary celebration in its home soil, China.
