Hankook Tire partners with TGL, the high-tech golf league co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, starting Season 2 this December.
Hankook Tire Also Serves as TGL’s Founding Partner
Hankook Tire announced that it has signed an agreement with the U.S.-based simulation golf league, Tomorrow’s Golf League (TGL). Starting from Season 2, which is set to begin December 28, Hankook Tire will serve as TGL’s first-ever Official Tire Partner and Founding Partner.
TGL was co-founded by sports executive Mike McCarley and professional golfers Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. It is a technology-driven tournament that integrates technology, data, and live-action play within a custom-designed high-tech arena. Based on the shared core value of technological innovation, Hankook Tire decided to become TGL’s partner, aiming to connect with golf enthusiasts across all age groups.
This partnership will see Hankook Tire‘s unified brand, Hankook, showcased across various platforms, including LED signage inside the SoFi Center, TV commercials, as well as live broadcast coverage.

TGL Season 2 will begin on December 28 and run until March 2026, featuring a total of 15 rounds. Twenty-four PGA golfers from six teams—Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf, Jupiter Links Golf Club, Los Angeles Golf Club, New York Golf Club, and The Bay Golf Club—will compete in the tournament.
Sponsoring TGL is part of Hankook Tire‘s ongoing marketing campaign through continuous involvement with leading sports organisations. So far, aside from TGL, the Korean tyre manufacturer has collaborated with UEFA to sponsor the Europa League and the Conference League, Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, and Saudi Pro League team Al Ittihad.
In motorsports, Hankook Tire has been the tyre supplier for several competitions organised by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), including the FIA World Rally Championship, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
“Hankook Tire plans to further enhance its brand value by continuing to sponsor a wide range of global sports and motorsport events, while strengthening engagement and communication with customers worldwide,” the company stated.
