Continental‘s summer and all-season tyres, the SportContact 6 and the CrossContact RX, will equip the latest edition of the Porsche Macan. While the SportContact 6 promises sportiness, the CrossContact RX provides comfort.
The SportContact 6, which belongs to the Ultra High Performance (UHP) category, ensures safety at high speeds of up to 350 km/h. Its optimised tread compound, pattern, and construction enable the tyre to meet the performance demands of sports vehicles, from strong grip to optimal force transmission.
For drivers who prioritise comfort and low rolling noise, the CrossContact RX is the ideal choice. This all-season tyre features specialised tread technology and a custom lamella concept. The geometry of its grooves ensures quick and reliable water evacuation, reducing the risk of aquaplaning. It also provides a strong grip and short braking distances on wet roads.
Depending on the version, the CrossContact RX is approved for speeds of up to 270 km/h. For the Porsche Macan, Continental supplies versions with a V speed rating, suitable for speeds of up to 240 km/h.
