Hankook will provide three product lines for BMW’s test drive fleet, strengthening its collaboration with BMW Group Korea.
Hankook Ventus Evo Joins BMW Driving Centre Supply Roster
Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook) has confirmed that it will continue as the exclusive tyre supplier for the BMW Driving Centre in South Korea for the 12th consecutive year. Under the renewed agreement, Hankook will provide high-performance tyres for test drives and track vehicles throughout 2026.
Hankook said it will provide three product lines to support the diverse fleet at the BMW Driving Centre: The iON evo AS SUV, the Winter i*cept evo3 X, and the Ventus evo. The ultra-high-performance Ventus evo from Hankook‘s flagship line, Ventus, is a new addition to the supply roster.
The company stated that the Ventus evo has been engineered to meet the demands of high-speed driving, especially with its reinforced braking and cornering capabilities, while also offering improved fuel efficiency and longer life. These characteristics make the tyre suitable for the driving centre’s needs.
Aside from supplying tyres, Hankook will also maintain a strong visual presence at the premises. Its products will be fitted on vehicles displayed in the showroom, and the ‘Hankook‘ brand will be visible trackside, including on the big board and fence board. The tyre maker also plans to run various experiential programmes to strengthen and expand customer engagement.
Hankook and BMW Group Korea’s relationship dates back to 2011, beginning with the supply of original equipment tyres for the Mini brand. Since then, the partnership has expanded to a wide range of BMW models, from the 1 series to the 7 series, X-range SUVs, and high-performance M models such as X3 M, X4 M, and M5. Hankook has also supported BMW’s electrification effort by providing tyres for the i4 and iX models.
