Pirelli received the Supplier of the Year award from Hyundai Motor Group for high-quality products and stable supply chain management.
New P Zero Tyres Feature on Latest Hyundai and Genesis High Performance Models
Pirelli has been awarded “Supplier of the Year” at the recent Hyundai Motor Group Global Supplier Day, recognising the Italian tyre maker’s high-quality products and services, supply chain management, and collaborative performance.
Pirelli has been a trusted partner for Hyundai Motor Group, ensuring production continuity and stability by consistently supplying its products and services through forward-looking solutions. Utilising its Asian plants, Pirelli offers Hyundai more stable production assurance and more agile responsive support, something that has deepened the connection between the two companies.
The full scope of technical collaboration between Hyundai and Pirelli is evident, particularly in the latest models. The first high-performance model from Genesis, the luxury brand of Hyundai Group, the GV60 Magma, as well as Hyundai’s high-performance electric coupe, the Ioniq 6 N, are both equipped with Pirelli‘s new generation P Zero tyres.
The new generation P Zero tyres feature Pirelli‘s PNCS and ELECT technologies. Pirelli said its ELECT technology, which is specifically developed for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, has been homologated as original equipment by car manufacturers more than 800 times since its initial launch in 2019. For Hyundai, Pirelli‘s technologies enable its vehicles to unleash their performance potential fully.
