Starmaxx Controlmax Offer Balanced Performance and Fuel Efficiency
Starmaxx has made comfort the main priority for the Controlmax without compromising performance. It offers balanced handling, low noise levels (up to 69 dB), and dependable grip on both dry and wet surfaces.The tyre’s optimised tread design promotes even wear over its lifespan, while reduced rolling resistance enhances fuel efficiency and driving comfort.
Dense lateral grooves incorporated on the tyre’s shoulders improve traction and wet braking performance, while wider inner drainage grooves and four circumferential channels reduce the risk of aquaplaning. It also offers consistent wet performance with A or B wet grip ratings, thanks to a specially developed tread compound.
On dry surfaces, the tyre’s rigid outer shoulder design and narrow groove structure ensure cornering stability and confident handling. Starmaxx said the Controlmax‘s “well-balanced” construction enables it to perform reliably across a wide range of driving scenarios.
