Apollo Tyres has unveiled the Aspire 5, a next-generation summer tyre for premium cars and SUVs, including EVs.
Apollo Aspire 5 Features an Advanced Tread Tech
Apollo Tyres has unveiled the Aspire 5, a next-generation summer tyre engineered for high-performance and luxury vehicles. The Aspire 5 succeeds the Aspire 4G+ to deliver upgraded comfort, improved efficiency, and lower noise, while maintaining its price competitiveness.
Available in 24 sizes for 17- to 21-inch rims, the Apollo Aspire 5 is suitable for a wide range of saloons and SUVs, including electric vehicles (EVs).
The new tyre features Apollo Tyres‘ new Dynamic Contour Technology, combining advanced tread design and compound innovations to provide a “refined” driving experience, according to the company. The main features of this technology are the Diamond Ridges within the tread structure that absorb shocks to reduce stress on the ribs and enhance smoothness while driving.
Another technology used in the Aspire 5 is the Synchronised Tread Pitch. This technology was present in the Aspire 4G+ but has been improved since to minimise vibration and noise. As a result, some sizes in this tyre range achieve an ‘A’ noise rating.
Meanwhile, the Aspire 5‘s structure allows uniform pressure distribution even at tight corners, providing more stable handling. The new-generation carbon black used in this tyre, on the other hand, features low hysteresis properties that minimise heat build-up, improve rolling resistance, and help extend the tyre’s life. In selected sizes, the tyre achieves a ‘B’ rolling resistance rating, indicating good fuel efficiency.
As a summer tyre, the Apollo Aspire 5 delivers strong performance in all weather conditions, with an ‘A’ wet grip rating available in certain sizes. The strong grip provides reliable control and braking capability, particularly in challenging situations.
The Apollo Aspire 5 has previously undergone extensive testing across Europe, India, Japan, and Korea to make sure that the tyre matches, or even exceeds, the levels of refinement and comfort of tyres from leading European manufacturers.
“With the Aspire 5, our R&D teams focused on enhancing refinement and comfort without compromising dynamic performance. Every element of the tyre has been developed to meet the expectations of premium and executive car owners seeking both comfort and control, resulting in a tyre that combines quietness and composure with responsive handling and efficiency,” said Daniele Lorenzetti, Chief Technology Officer at Apollo Tyres.
