To reflect the confidence on its products and their performance, Apollo Tyres is offering a one-year Unconditional Warranty (UCW) on its entire range of passenger car tyres to customers in Malaysia.
One-Year Unconditional Warranty for Passenger Tyres Offered by Apollo
This one-year UCW offer is in addition to the company’s standard 5 years manufacturer’s warranty and covers all kinds of ‘bad luck’ failures – such as accidental tyre damage or impact breaks – to give consumers ‘complete peace of mind’ when they drive on a new set of Apollo tyres.
The company says it manufactures the tyres sold in Malaysia at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Baroda and Chennai, India. In Malaysia, Apollo Tyres is primarily selling its 4G range of passenger car tyres that were designed and developed at the company’s Global R&D Centre in the Netherlands.
Shubhro Ghosh, Group Head, ASEAN Region, Apollo Tyres Ltd, said: “The Apollo brand of tyres was introduced to Malaysian customers about a year ago and since then we have been working towards creating a space for ourselves in this market. The confidence in our product quality, durability and performance has led to coming up with this UCW offer for the Malaysian customers. We believe that the UCW offer will help increase Malaysian consumers’ confidence in the Apollo brand, in addition to an increase in sales of the passenger car tyres.”
With a sizeable distribution network in the ASEAN region, the company, apart from the Apollo and Vredestein brand of passenger vehicle tyres, also sells commercial vehicle and off-highway tyres in this region. The ASEAN region contributes the maximum to the company’s exports from India.
Apollo Tyres (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apollo Tyres Ltd, was established in Malaysia in 2016 and imports from its manufacturing facilities in India and the Netherlands the full range of passenger car and commercial vehicle tyres for its fast-growing consumer base in Malaysia.
The company is aiming for a sizeable growth in Malaysia as it continues to expand its product offering and channels in this market in addition to brand building activities.
