Davanti Tyres has extended its partnership with the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (AIA) Racing School in Portimão, Portugal, for another three years.

Under the agreement, which was first established in 2017, Davanti Tyres will continue to equip the AIA Racing School’s fleet of cars with its Protoura Sport tyres. The tyre maker also has full access to said cars and the school’s instructors.

In addition, the agreement allows Davanti to access and host activities on the AIA Racing School’s Gold Course, which features a series of challenging driving exercises designed to improve agility and control, and gather feedback on the Protoura Sport tyre from professional drivers using the track.

“Our drivers are highly qualified professionals, and they understand the importance of tyres as a safety feature. They have developed complete confidence in Davanti since we began this partnership, as tyres that handle well and provide all the feedback and control you need to drive safely and well. We are proud to partner with Davanti Tyres,” said AIA Racing School Director, Miguel Praia.

As one of the most technically challenging race circuits in the world, AIA Racing School has hosted the European LeMans Series and the FIM World Superbike Championship. The racing school has recently announced that it will host Formula One in the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

“The AIA is one of our longest-running partnerships, and over the years, it has given us invaluable live feedback on our products, which has undoubtedly contributed to the quality and the capability of the Protoura Sport tyre today. It has also allowed us to demonstrate the tyre to our valued customers in an exciting, premium track experience, which has helped strengthen relationships and cement the product as a competitive player in the market,” Sean Maddocks, Davanti Tyres sales director for the UK & Ireland, said.

“With the circuit also announcing its partnership with Formula 1 in the 2027 and 2028 seasons, it shows that as a racing venue, it really is one of the most renowned in the world,” Maddocks concluded.
