Dunlop officially launches the Blue Response TG in Europe from March 2026, the first summer tyre developed for the brand by Sumitomo Rubber.
Blue Response TG Brings a New Era for Dunlop
Following an introduction at a driving event in Seville, Spain, Dunlop officially launched the Blue Response TG premium summer tyre in Europe. As the first Dunlop tyre developed by Sumitomo Rubber Industries (Sumitomo Rubber), the Blue Response TG marks a new era for the brand.
The Blue Response TG is suitable for a wide variety of vehicles, from combustion engine vehicles to hybrid and electric vehicles. It is offered in 99 sizes spanning 15-21 inches, with series 40-65 bearing the H, V, and W speed ratings.
The tyre’s three-zone rib is the key to its water evacuation. It channels water away from the contact patch to provide stability at high speeds and ensure strong wet grip, particularly during direction changes. It also features a refined shoulder design, with lateral grooves set at optimised angles, that enhances tread rigidity to reduce block deformation under load, while ensuring consistent force transfer in corners and under braking.
In addition, the Blue Response TG also incorporates a new tread design, which uses longer and stronger polymer chains to resist abrasion and slow wear to extend mileage without any compromises. A noise-reduction tread design links the lateral grooves into continuous channels that deliver a quieter ride by smoothing the airflow and damping vibrations.
Developed by Dunlop in Germany and Japan and drawing on Sumitomo Rubber‘s engineering and manufacturing footprint, the Blue Response TG is produced in Türkiye. The tyre will be available from March 2026 in Europe.
