Toyota’s C-HR+ features Dunlop‘s SP Sport Maxx 060 and e. Sport Maxx, designed with low rolling resistance for a longer electric driving range.
Dunlop Supplies SP Sport Maxx 060 and e. Sport Maxx as OE for Toyota C-HR+
Sumitomo Rubber Industries has announced that Dunlop has been selected to supply original equipment (OE) for the all-new Toyota C-HR+, an electric SUV launched in Europe last year.
According to Sumitomo Rubber, Dunlop has begun supplying its SP Sport Maxx 060 and e Sport Maxx as the factory standard tyres for the C-HR+.
The tyres feature optimised pattern design to reduce road noise and provide more comfort. Meanwhile, its new tread rubber minimises rolling resistance, which increases energy efficiency. The features that the SP Sport Maxx 060 and the e. Sport Maxx provide align with Toyota’s vision for the C-HR+, whose modified battery cells guarantee a longer driving range.
Aside from comfort and efficiency, the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 060 and e. Sport Maxx tyres also provide safety by delivering steering stability and strong grip, especially on wet surfaces.
Lastly, the tyres also feature the Nano Black lettering, Sumitomo Rubber’s proprietary design technique for deeper black sidewall colouring. This technique improves the visibility of the Dunlop brand logo on the sidewalls and gives the tyres a more luxurious design aesthetic.
