Falken Tyre Europe expands its 2026 summer range with new sizes for the Azenis FK520 and e.ZIEX to meet rising SUV and EV market demand.
Falken Summer Range Expansion Addresses European EV Market Growth
Falken Tyre Europe GmbH (Falken) has expanded its summer tyre range for 2026 to address the increasing demand for electric vehicles and SUVs, which require larger tyres and higher load ratings capable of handling the instant torque of electric powertrains while maintaining safety and comfort.
The expansion comes as SUVs now account for 54 per cent of new car sales in Europe, while battery electric vehicles reached a 17.5 per cent market share in the first half of 2025. Falken‘s updated line-up provides additional sizes to cater to these specific market segments.

The Falken Azenis FK520 leads the 2026 range with 16 new sizes, including six 22-inch fitments designed for premium SUVs. These tyres utilise a lightweight construction and an Aramid reinforcement layer to provide strength and efficiency alongside high levels of cornering and dry braking grip.
For the electric and hybrid markets, the Falken e. Ziex range has been extended with three new fitments for models, such as the Renault Magane and Citroën C4. It also serves as original equipment for the Audi Q6 e-tron. The tyre features an optimised tread pattern contour at the shoulder to distribute pressure evenly, which lowers rolling resistance and enhances driving range.
The ultra-ultra-high-performance (UUHP) Azenis RS820, which is original equipment for the Audi S3, is designed for sports and supercars, including the Porsche 911 and BMW M5. The tyre incorporates technology from Falken’s Nürburgring racing programme to deliver lateral stability and wet-weather performance.
Rounding out the 2026 collection is the Falken ZIEX ZE320, which is now available in 61 sizes for everyday passenger cars. This model features a noise-reducing tread design and a lightweight casing, providing a quieter and more efficient driving experience for a wide range of customers.
