Falken Tyre Proves Its Worth in UHP, All-Round, and EV Segments
Falken Tyre has kicked off the 2026 summer season on a high note, with three of its models earning strong ratings across independent tests conducted by a leading automotive publication and motoring clubs in Europe.
The Azenis FK520, the ZIEX ZE320, and the e.ZIEX all performed commendably in their respective tests, reinforcing Falken‘s credentials in the ultra-high-performance (UHP), all-round summer, and electric vehicle tyre segments.
With an overall score of 8.6, the Falken Azenis FK520 received a”Very Good” rating and was highly recommended by Sportauto. The tyre performed exceptionally well in braking tests on wet and dry surfaces, achieving a perfect score in each category. At the same time, its handling, lateral grip, and comfort also stood out with great results. Additionally, Sportauto also named the tyre as “the best value for money”.
Meanwhile, in the summer tyre test conducted by the Automobile Club of Germany (AvD), the Falken ZIEX ZE320 in size 215/55 R17 also received an overall rating of “Very Good” after securing fifth place out of the 15 tyres tested. The all-rounder tyre particularly impressed in wet conditions, achieving marks between 4.4 and 4.6 out of 5 in aquaplaning, corner aquaplaning, and braking distance categories. It also performed strongly on dry roads and scored highly for its low noise level. In the “Greenovation” category, the ZIEX ZE320 received a “Good” rating thanks to its low weight and efficient rolling resistance.
Lastly, the Falken e.ZIEX achieved an overall “Good” rating in the Auto Motor und Sport summer tyre test. The standout feature of the tyre is its comfort and very low interior noise, both of which received 10 out of 10 points. The testers specifically praised the tyre for its quiet, controllable handling, and described it as an “efficiency recommendation for electric vehicles”. Aside from comfort, the tyre also showed a strong performance in other categories, receiving 7.2 out of 10 points on wet conditions and 8.4 out of 10 points on dry conditions.
“With outstanding results in three independent summer tyre tests, Falken underscores its technological expertise and the consistent development of its product portfolio to enter the 2026 summer season with a clear promise of quality, reliability and value,” the brand said in its official statement.
