Falken Tyre says it is ready for the 2025 EU Deforestation Regulation, assuring full traceability and compliance ahead of the December 30 deadline.
Falken: Tyres Fully Traceable Ahead of EUDR Enforcement
Falken Tyre has expressed its readiness to provide its customers with the relevant EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) information, as the new regulation will come into effect on December 30, 2025.
From December 30, 2025, EUDR becomes mandatory for all tyre imports into the European Union. The new regulation means that all companies, including tyre companies, must prove that their products do not contribute to deforestation.
According to its official statement, Falken said that, over the past months, its project team has worked intensively to test and implement all necessary processes. With the traceability of its tyres all ensured, Falken will be ready to show the proof in a quick, transparent, and reliable manner.
“You can rely on Falken to meet all legal requirements. Our goal is to make the transition as easy as possible for you, without additional effort for your processes,” Falken wrote to its customers.
The EU Commission itself, in October, proposed adjustments to facilitate the implementation of the EUDR regulation by simplifying obligations for dealers, providing a six-month transition period for large companies, and relieving small and medium-sized businesses from the responsibility.
The final decision, according to Falken, will be announced sometime between December 15 and 18 in the EU Parliament. However, regardless of what decision comes into play, Falken is currently deforestation-free and ready to prove it.
