The EcoVadis Silver Rating highlights JK Tyre’s progress in sustainability and ESG performance.
Environment Pillar Became JK Tyre’s Strongest Performer
JK Tyre & Industries Limited (JK Tyre) has been awarded a Silver Rating by EcoVadis, placing it among the top seven per cent of companies globally assessed across industries, the company said.
EcoVadis evaluates corporate sustainability performance based on four pillars: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Silver rating reflects the progress made by JK Tyre in strengthening its sustainability performance across these areas.
JK Tyre achieved an overall score of 77 out of 100. The environment pillar emerged as the company’s strongest performer with 89 points, thanks to the company’s initiatives on climate action, energy efficiency, emissions management, and environmental management systems.
Dr Raghupati Singhania, CMD of JK Tyre & Industries Limited, said, “This significant performance in our EcoVadis performance is the outcome of focused initiatives across environmental stewardship, ethical governance, labour practices, and responsible sourcing.”

The 77 overall score, the company said, underscores JK Tyre‘s commitment to combating climate change, fostering a safe and inclusive workplace, upholding high ethical standards, and driving sustainability across its value chain.
