Kumho Tire’s Omni Ring Takes Home Prestigious iF Design Award 2026 in Product Concepts
Kumho Tire has won the International Forum Design Award (iF Design Award) 2026 in the Product Concepts category for its Omni Ring, a modular tyre designed for future mobility capable of moving in all directions.
Organised by the iF International Forum Design in Germany, the iF Design Award is one of the world’s top three design awards alongside the Red Dot Design Award of Germany and the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) of the United States.
In the 2026 edition, more than 11,000 entries from 72 countries were submitted, and a judging panel of 132 international experts selected the winners.
Kumho Tire‘s Omni Ring features various patterns that deliver optimal performance depending on driving conditions and purposes. In urban indoor settings, its dense herringbone pattern reduces noise and improves energy efficiency. For inter-city travel, its block pattern enhances performance at high speeds.
