Retread tyres often have a bad perception, however it is predicted to be worth $8.8 billion in 2021. KAYEL Tyres has recently won the international Recircle Award for the ‘Spirit of Retreading’ for the quality of their retread tyres, made in Shah Alam. 

Valebridge Media Services (VMS), the Crewe, UK and Madrid, Spain-based media services agency, has announced that the Marangoni Group has been named as the Official Trophy Sponsor for the inaugural Recircle Awards 2021.

Tyre Retreading Manufacturers’ Association of Malaysia (TRMAM) held its 7th AGM on 14th July 2020, at Klang Executive Club, Klang in Selangor.

The Recircle Awards 2021 is being launched to honour retreaders and tyre recyclers for their respective achievements in the industry. 

As with most retreaders in Malaysia, Gummitread predominantly provide pre-cure retreads, despite also having one hot cure mould.

TME expects the current production level of 3,000 pre-cure TBR retreads per month at the Telok Gong site to jump to a projected level of 4,500 by mid-2020.

Following an extensive period of investment at its manufacturing facility in Klang, Malaysia, Maxrubber Industries Sdn Bhd, the fast-growing manufacturer of tyre retreading materials, has announced that it will be embarking on a targeted export drive with a view to developing a strong presence in the European market.
