The Tyreman Upgrades Social Media Activity

As part of our strategy to upgrade and expand our social media presence The Tyreman has now developed a presence on three of the most popular social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

At the same time, social media profiles have also been established for our other Malaysia-based magazine title, Truck & Bus News and the three titles owned by our UK-based sister company Retreading Business Ltd, Retreading Business, Tyre & Rubber Recycling and Commercial Tyre Business.

According to Publisher David Wilson, the move is part of a plan to integrate the activities of the individual print magazines with their respective digital versions, e-newsletter activity and a strong presence on the key social media platforms.

Says Wilson; “Publishing is about more than just having a successful print magazine. Nowadays readers are just as likely to access news stories and comment articles on their computer or on their mobile phones. Our aim is to give the readers of The Tyreman a comprehensive information service, allowing them to use the media they are most comfortable with, whilst also allowing us to be more efficient and successful in reaching our core readers on a worldwide basis.”

Responsible for developing and integrating the digital media activities of all five magazines will be Richard Wilson, who now joins the company on a full-time basis.
