Sixty-eight participants came together for the second staging of the Motul Driving Experience from 11th to 13th July at the Sepang circuit. Among them were media representatives, users of Motul products, winners in a Facebook campaign and a karting competition in Indonesia as well as distributors from the Asia-Pacific region who achieved predefined sales quotas. They enjoyed a particularly entertaining, instructive and varied programme, including discovering single-seater driving and the art of Drift!
The FIA Formula 4 cars that awaited them at the Malaysian Grand Prix circuit provided an initial approach to the sensations and technique of driving race-bred sports cars. Inaddition, they enjoyed circuit laps in Renault Clio RS and a few lucky ones had a go in the McLaren 650S GT3.
Drift is not a very accessible discipline for beginners and one usually didn't have the opportunity to enjoy sliding at the wheel of a Toyota GT86. To complete the delightful experience, they took part in a 30-minute mini karting endurance race.
To round up the event, conferences were organised to present the Motul brand, its history and involvement in racing, without forgetting its products... which were used on track during the three days of mechanical bliss!
