Apollo Tyres recently announced the addition of five tyre sizes of the dual branded Apollo-Manchester United tyre range. These new additions were introduced to reinforce the brand’s commitment to Malaysian consumers by offering a broader range of the ‘high quality, unique custom designed’ tyres for passionate football fans.
The introduction of these new sizes was based on the increasing demand of the dual branded design by passionate Manchester United fans within Malaysia and the region. To meet user demands, the Apollo-Manchester United range is now available in these sizes: 195/55 R15; 205/55 R16; 215/55 R17; 245/45 R18; 265/65 R17 and the previous size 195/65 R15.
Shubhro Ghosh, Group Head, Asean and Middle East region, Apollo Tyres Ltd, said: “These 5 new sizes were developed based on the success of our debut 15” variant that was introduced almost three years ago. The USP for these tyre choices remain true to Apollo’s core belief of achieving the highest levels of safety through design that promotes absolute performance and control.
“Ultimately with this tyre range, drivers will not only experience a quieter drive and superior handling in dry and wet surfaces alike, but will also get to show off the Manchester United logo on their tyre sidewall,” continued Ghosh.
In addition to the latest dual branded tyre’s introduction, the company continues to provide a one-year Unconditional Warranty (UCW) for the entire passenger car tyre range. This feature is an added offering on top of the 5-year basic manufacturers’ warranty. The 12-month UCW covers all kinds of tyre damages such as accidental tyre damage or impact breaks, giving consumers complete peace of mind when they drive on a new set of Apollo’s tyres.
Ghosh added: “Our Malaysian consumers are very important to us. Since starting operations in Malaysia in 2016, we have established our distribution channel throughout Malaysia that would allow our business partners to deliver our tyres right to the customer’s door step. With a huge marketing programme lined up this year, we truly believe that the 1-Year Unconditional Warranty offering will further assist Apollo Tyres in giving quality assurance to our consumers, allowing us to build greater consumer confidence towards the brand.”
