The free virtual race begins on 22 April and encourages participants young and old, with any level of fitness, to exercise and adopt a healthier lifestyle by getting out and being active over a 45-day period.
Participants can run, jog or run through the Stepathlon platform to collect their steps and log them using their smartphone or other compatible device as they virtually run around the globe and compete with fans around the world for the chance to Hundreds of prizes for winning money-can’t-buy experiences.
Interested participants can download the Road To Man City app (available for iOS and Android users from February 25, 2021) to take part in the virtual race.
Fans can register for the challenge from 25th February through 21st April, 2021. The virtual race officially starts on April 22nd and ends on June 5th, 2021.

The Nexen Road to Man City is the second virtual racing event the club has hosted, but the first on a global scale. The previous successful event was for fans in India with thousands of attendees. The virtual race event is supported by Stepathlon – The Race Management Platform.
