Kumho Tire has received Germany's prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2021 for its Ecsta V730 tyre in the product design category.
Kumho Tire Wins Again
Optimised for high performance vehicles including sports cars and racing vehicles, the Ecsta V730 is an ultra-high performance tyre. It featured an asymmetrical pattern that is both suitable for dry and wet surfaces. Numerous super computer simulations have led to an optimum design that could drastically reduce noise while on the road, while maximising the racing experience for drivers. Furthermore, its sturdy block design makes driving safer and enhances handling capabilities.
The Red Dot Design Award honours winners in the three categories of product design, brands and communication, and design concept. It is recognised as one of the world’s top three design awards.
