Issue 2023/2 of The Tyreman Now Available

The digital version of Issue 2023/2 of The Tyreman, Malaysia's specialist B2B magazine for the tyre industry, is now available for viewing and download.

The launch of two new premium Vredestein range of performance tyres – the Vredestein Ultrac and Ultrac Vorti by Vredestein Malaysia forms the basis of the cover story of this month’s issue.  This is followed by an article on HT Group, one of the tyre industry pioneers, which is celebrating its 70^th anniversary this year. Readers can read about the company’s humble beginnings from a small tyre shop in Johor Bahru to a Group with diversified businesses.

There is also product related report on ‘Cooper Tires Promotion’ by Goodyear for consumers. Malaysian drivers are now able to access a wide range of Cooper Tires at participating Goodyear Autocare stores nationwide, following the acquisition of Cooper Tire & Rubber Company by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company last year.

From the retreading side, we visited Stamford Tyres’ retreading facility in Singapore, and talked to Ivan Reijan, who is Vice President (Fleet) for Stamford Tyres plus Factory Manager Rupert Yeo to find out the latest developments in the plant.
