Linglong Tire 50th Anniversary Global Partners Conference

Linglong Tire’s 50th Anniversary Conference gathered global partners, unveiling new sustainable technologies and a roadmap for collaborative growth.

New Technologies Including Self-Healing and Bio-Based Tyres

Linglong Tire successfully held its 50th Anniversary Global Partners Conference on December 7, 2025, in Zhaoyuan, Shandong, under the theme “Linglong 50, Always Forward”.

The gathering brought together industry leaders, academic experts, and global partners to reflect on the company’s half-century of growth and outline a forward-looking strategy to achieve sustainable innovation and collaborative value creation.

In his keynote speech, Linglong Tire Chairman Wang Feng chronicled the company’s evolution since its founding in 1975. The company began as a single factory in the Jiaodong Peninsula and, fifty years later, it has become a global enterprise with products distributed across 173 countries.

Wang also expressed his gratitude to academic advisors, university partners, financial institutions, suppliers, and clients, noting that Linglong’s milestones were made possible by a foundation of mutual trust and collaboration.

Looking ahead, Linglong Tire aims to transition from a large enterprise to a great enterprise, anchored in a customer-first philosophy. The company will focus on building an open, inclusive, and synergistic global industrial ecosystem, fostering deeper cooperation across the value chain through technological innovation.

Following Wang’s speech, a conference featuring high-level dialogues on green and intelligent transformation within the tyre industry ensued. Distinguished guests, including Serbian Ambassador to China Maja Stefanovic and academician Zhang Liqun, praised Linglong‘s role in promoting international cooperation and technological progress.

After that, during an awards ceremony, Linglong Tire honoured long-term partners, such as Bekaert (a Belgian-based company specialising in steel wire transformation and coating technologies) and VMI (a producer of tyre manufacturing machinery based in the Netherlands), for “their unwavering support”.

A series of technological achievements were also unveiled, including tyres made with 79 per cent bio-based materials, self-healing smart tyres, airless tyres, and an intelligent self-repairing system that elevates tyre safety to a new level.

“These innovations reflect Linglong’s capacity to turn sustainability commitments into tangible products,” the company noted in its official statement.

Before the event concluded, Linglong Tire also signed multiple agreements regarding new materials, green energy, and digitalisation with leading institutions, signalling a shift from traditional supply-chain relations to an integrated value-creation ecosystem.

“By strengthening global partnerships and embracing an open industrial ecosystem, Linglong aims to overcome future challenges and lead the tyre industry toward a more sustainable and brilliant century. Through this conference, Linglong Tire demonstrated not only its historic achievements and innovative strength but also a clear roadmap for long-term, collaborative growth,” Linglong Tire wrote.
