age. It has a 10 per cent deeper tread depth for improved mileage and increased longevity. Other fea- tures include its newly developed wide steel belts that are stronger than the normal cord for better wear and performance, a unique rib groove inhibits irregular wear by enhancing the rigidity of the tread, a high density casing ply that im- proves wear resistance, etc. The PT722A/S is available in 44 sizes from series 30 to 60, with diam- eters ranging from 16 to 20-inch.
The launch was held in Changi, which was the perfect proving ground for the new tyres, where Stamford Tyres had set up a course for the journalists and dealers to test the performance of the new FK453 as compared to FK452. The real treat for the attendees was they were given an exclusive exhilarating drifting experience: a great ride with the Stamford Tyres Racing Team drivers Jansen Tan, Felix Lin and Walton Seah as well as Daijiro Yo- shiharal as a special guest.
