Rocket  League Now A Part of Michelin’s 25 Years History in Video Games

Michelin has been named the official partner of the 2026 Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) after signing an agreement with BLAST, the organiser of the esports tournament.

RLCS is the global championship for the video game Rocket League, currently one of the most popular video games in the world, with several million active monthly players. The partnership with BLAST reinforces Michelin‘s commitment to esports by sponsoring one of the most followed competitions globally. According to Michelin, the RLCS generates tens of millions of views worldwide.

The partnership was announced before the RLCS Boston Major kicked off on February 19th. Under the deal, Michelin‘s branding will appear within the car football title and across the tournament broadcasts this season.

“Rocket League features vehicles competing in an environment where precision, control, and speed of execution are essential. Requirements that echo Michelin’s long-standing expertise in mobility and high performance, particularly in motorsport,” the company said.

Supporting the RLCS is not the first of Michelin‘s endeavours in esports. In 2025, the French tyre manufacturer joined forces with iRacing and Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) for the IMSA Esports Global Championship. In 2000, Michelin collaborated with Digital Illusions and Gremlin Interactive to release the Michelin Rally Masters: Race of Champions video game. It also sponsored the FIA-certified Gran Turismo Championships from 2019 to 2024 and served as the simulator’s official tyre supplier.
