The Nexen Tire N’Fera Supreme S selected as OE for Kia EV4 thanks to its advanced grip, low noise, and high-speed braking stability.
Nexen Tire Leads the OE Market for Domestic EVs
Nexen Tire announced on May 28, 2025, that its premium all-season tyre, the N’Fera Supreme S, has been selected as original equipment (OE) for Kia’s first electric sedan, the EV4.
As an electric sedan, the Kia EV4 comes with certain requirements that not every tyre can provide such as the capability to handle high torque, provide low noise, and deliver precise handling. Nexen‘s N’Fera Supreme S meets those requirements and, thus, was chosen to equip the car.
Designed to provide a balanced driving experience across various conditions, the Nexen Tire N’Fera Supreme S ensures ride comfort and braking stability for high-speed and everyday driving. The tyre is equipped with innovative features including a 4D compound and an optimised load distribution technology that enhances grip and stability.
Moreover, the tyre’s retention design helps maintain performance even after 50 per cent. Meanwhile, its aerodynamic sidewall minimises air resistance to improve energy efficiency.
Nexen sees the selection of the N’Fera Supreme S as a recognition of the company’s technological capabilities and product quality. Aside from the EV4, Nexen Tire is also currently supplying original equipment (OE) tyres for other Kia electric vehicles, including the EV3, EV6 and EV9.
