Nexen Tire‘s N’BLUE S brings OE-proven wet grip and efficiency to Malaysia’s replacement tyre market, suitable for all powertrains.
Malaysia Among First APAC Markets to Receive Nexen Tire’s New N’BLUE S
Nexen Tire has launched the N’BLUE S high-performance summer tyre in Malaysia and several other Asia-Pacific and Latin American markets, as the South Korean manufacturer expands its footprint in the global replacement tyre market.
Malaysia is among the first Asia-Pacific markets to receive the N’BLUE S, alongside Australia, with the Latin America rollout including Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico. The expansion follows a successful introduction in Europe, and forms part of the company’s broader effort to diversify its revenue base across regions that show stable demand for summer tyres due to warm climates and limited seasonal variation.
“The N’BLUE S represents a key strategic model for the company, upgrading its existing summer lineup while extending OE-proven technology into the replacement market,” said John Bosco (Hyeon Suk) Kim, CEO of Nexen Tire. “To reinforce our global revenue base, we plan to gradually expand our presence in regions with stable year-round demand for summer tyres.”
The N’BLUE S is designed with an optimised contact patch structure that reduces rolling resistance for better efficiency and improved handling. Its multifunctional compound uses dispersed materials to enhance wet grip and ensure stability on wet surfaces. The tyre also carries Nexen Tire‘s proprietary EV ROOT mark, which identifies products engineered to perform across internal combustion engine, hybrid, and electric vehicles.
In Europe, the N’BLUE S has proved its credentials both in original equipment (OE) sales and the replacement market. It has been trusted to equip several European models as OE, such as the Hyundai Casper EV, Kia Niro, and PV5. Nexen Tire aims to carry the momentum into the replacement market across its newly entered territories.
