Silverstone Marketing Sdn Bhd worked with The Star Media Group for the first time as a partner-sponsor in the Carsifu 2017 awards and auto show. CarSifu is the motoring section of the Star Media Group.
As partner, one of the package entitlements given to Silverstone Marketing was a space to set up its booth at the auto show that was held at the Mid-Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, from 25th-29th Oct. Silverstone took this opportunity to promote the Kruizer NS800, which is the OEM Endorsed Tyre for selected models of Perodua and Proton.
The auto show was the follow-up to the CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards 2017 in which 31 categories, including ‘Car of the Year’, were up for grabs. The award winners were already announced at a gala dinner on 5th Oct. Short-listed cars were evaluated in key areas such as safety, performance, comfort, fuel economy, handling, styling as well as their individual ‘wow’ factor.
A total of 28 cars from different brands took part in the show, included the latest models from Peugeot, Mazda, Toyota, Isuzu, Volvo, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Infiniti, Kia, Renault, Citroen and Proton. Some of the cars displayed were winners of the CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards.
