Toyo Tires restructures its global sales set-up to flatten management and accelerate regional decision-making, effective March 13, 2026.
Toyo Tires Dissolves EMEA and Asia-Oceania Sales Divisions
Toyo Tire Corporation (Toyo Tires) is restructuring its global sales organisation, with changes to take effect on March 13, 2026. The move is aimed at streamlining the company’s management hierarchy and accelerating regional decision-making.
The Hyogo-based company announced on February 18 that it will dissolve two of its existing sales divisions and place their departments under Sales Headquarters. The Europe, Africa & Middle East (EMEA) Sales Division and the Asia & Oceania Sales Division will both be dissolved. Consequently, the EMEA Sales Department, the Asia & Oceania Sales Department, and the Japan Sales Department will report directly to Sales Headquarters going forward.
In the Americas, Toyo Tires will rename rather than restructure its units. The Americas Business Development Division will become the Americas Sales Division and the Americas Business Development Department will be called the Americas Sales Department to better reflect their functions.
As part of the re-organisation, Toyo Tires also announced that Corporate Officer and Vice President of Sales Headquarters, Kenta Kuribayashi, will relinquish his additional role as Division General Manager of the EMEA Sales Division, a position that will cease to exist following the dissolution of the division.
