The new Perodua Traz 1.5 X and H variants will come standard with 17-inch Toyo Tires‘ Proxes CR1 tyres, engineered for a quiet and smooth driving experience.
Proxes CR1 Developed Using Toyo Tires’ T-Mode and Nano Balance Tech
Toyo Tires Malaysia has announced that its Proxes CR1 model has been selected as the original equipment (OE) tyre for the all-new Perodua Traz, a 5-seater SUV launched in December 2025.
Developed using Toyo Tires‘ T-Mode and Nano Balance Technology, the Proxes CR1 features an optimised tread design aimed to reduce road noise while maintaining handling stability and grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The tyre will be fitted as standard on the 1.5 X and 1.5 H variants of the Perodua Traz in the 215/60R17 size.
“Rolling on 17-inch Proxes CR1 tyres, the Traz comes alive with a tyre engineered to enhance its comfort-driven DNA; delivering smooth responsiveness, reassuring stability, and efficient performance for every journey,” the tyre maker stated.
The Proxes CR1 and CR1 SUV lines currently represent Toyo Tires‘ most comprehensive product range in the Malaysian market, offering fitments for passenger cars and SUVs in sizes ranging from 14 to 20 inches.
