The RainSport 5 tyre from Uniroyal made its mark in the summer tyre test recently published by Polish automotive magazine Motor, claiming top spot.

The team of testers were particularly impressed by its outstanding performance in the wet.
In the summer tyre test included in edition no. 16 this year, the magazine put a total of nine different models of tyre through their paces, all with the dimensions 205/55 R16 91 V. In the head-to-head comparison the RainSport 5 prevailed against its competitors in four of the five wet disciplines and was declared the test winner. The tyre demonstrated excellent handling safety when fitted on the VW Golf test car, both in challenging wet conditions and on dry roads. The test drivers rated both the mechanical comfort of the tyre and its acoustics as ‘very good’. There was also praise from the editors for the unbeatable price of the RainSport 5.
