Volkswagen has chosen Falken tyres for the new Tiguan, featuring all-season and winter options, as well as ultra-high-performance tyres.
Falken’s Tyres for Tiguan Based on Advanced 4D NANO Tech
Falken Tyres (Falken) has been selected as the original equipment supplier for the all-new Volkswagen Tiguan. Falken will supply two all-season tyres, the Euroall Season AS220 and the Euroall Season AS220 Pro, and one winter tyre, the Eurowinter HS02 Pro.
All tyres that Falken is supplying for the Tiguan are based on advanced 4D NANO Design technology, which offers stronger wet grip, better fuel efficiency, and a longer lifespan. The aerodynamic sidewall design with nano-black inscription gives each tyre a “modern and attractive look”.
Both the Euroall Season AS220 Pro and Eurowinter HS02 Pro are approved for speeds up to 270 km/h and are available in a variety of sizes. The Falken Eurowinter HS02 Pro is available in 87 sizes with series from 35 to 70 and rim diameters from 16 to 21 inches. Meanwhile, the ultra-high performance Falken Euroall Season AS220 Pro comes in 45 sizes with series from 35 to 65 and rim diameters from 17 to 21 inches.
The Falken Euroall Season AS220 has a directional tread and a symmetrical profile for high-performance applications, while the Euroall Season AS220 Pro features an optimised asymmetrical pattern for balanced performance in all conditions at a very high speed.
Falken said all-weather tyres have become increasingly important in recent years. By combining the strengths of summer and winter tyres, they provide reliable grip on dry and wet roads, as well as snow, making them the ideal choice for motorists in regions with mild winters.
