Yokohama Rubber and BMW M Motorsport last partnered at the Nürburgring between 1980 and 1990, winning two overall championships during that period.
Yokohama ADVAN Tyres to Support BMW M4 GT3 EVO in 2026 Nürburgring 24-Hour and NLS Campaign
Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. (Yokohama Rubber) has signed an agreement with BMW M Motorsport to be the team’s new official tyre supplier for the upcoming 2026 Nürburgring 24-Hour Race (ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring) and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS).
This is not the first time Yokohama Rubber and BMW M Motorsport have engaged in a motorsport partnership. The two parties previously teamed up for the Nürburgring 24-Hour races from 1980 to 1990, winning two overall championships during the period. After nearly four decades, the two are collaborating again and will be competing in the SP9 class with the BMW M4 GT3 EVO racing car. Yokohama Rubber said it will supply its Advan racing tyres and aim for another overall championship.
“We are excited to welcome Yokohama as an official partner of BMW M Motorsport for our Nürburgring program. Yokohama‘s technical expertise and motorsport passion strengthen our drive for maximum performance and precision. Their support allows our team to focus fully on what defines BMW M Motorsport: pushing the limits on every lap. We look forward to a strong endurance season,” said Franciscus Van Meel, CEO of BMW M GmbH.
Aside from BMW M Motorsport, Yokohama Rubber will also supply its tyres to several other teams in this season’s Nürburgring 24-Hour Race and the NLS.
