Hankook Proud to Sponsor the Ballon d’Or – Jongho Park

Hankook has officially renewed its commitment to become the official sponsor of the Ballon d’Or in 2025, the most prestigious individual award in football, which will take place at the Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris, France, on September 22, 2025.

The Ballon d’Or was established by the sports publication, France Football, in 1956. Since then, this award has evolved from a European to a global standard for individual excellence in football.

For Hankook, the 2025 edition will be its second consecutive year sponsoring the award. With this partnership, both parties are allowed to use the other brand’s logos. The company’s logo itself will be placed on the red carpet and in the press areas, as well as in the digital activities conducted by UEFA and the Korean tyre maker itself.

“We are proud to continue our partnership as sponsors of the Ballon d’Or, one of the most prestigious awards in global sport,” Jongho Park, President and COO of Hankook Tire Europe, said in an official statement.

“The Ballon d’Or has shaped football history and holds international appeal far beyond the sporting world. Our partnership underlines our shared commitment to innovation and peak performance, values that we have in common with international football,” he added.

The renewed commitment to the Ballon d’Or reaffirms Hankook‘s global strategy, targeting attention-grabbing sports entities, including the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and FIA World Rally Championship, as well as the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League, and Borussia Dortmund.
