Triangle Tyre has successfully attained the Gold Medal following its first EcoVadis assessment. The Chinese company scored 81 sustainability points and ranked in the top 5 per cent of participating companies across the globe.
EcoVadis is a leading global sustainability rating that evaluates companies on environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. To date, over 150,000 companies all over the world have been assessed.
“This recognition strengthens Triangle Tyre’s brand and competitiveness and marks a new starting point to further drive green, low-carbon transformation and deliver safer, more efficient, and sustainable tyre products globally,” the company wrote in an official statement.
Triangle Tyre‘s success in achieving the EcoVadis Gold Medal underscores the company’s long-term commitment to sustainability by focusing on green design, low rolling resistance tyres, and a circular industry chain. It also continuously reduces environmental impact through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
Aside from the environmental aspect, Triangle Tyre also promotes a safe, inclusive, and equitable workplace, complying with international labour standards. It also upholds responsible procurement policies and integrity in business operations by establishing a comprehensive compliance management system and anti-corruption mechanism to ensure fair, transparent, and responsible operations worldwide.
