Giti Tire has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the second consecutive year, placing it among the top one per cent of businesses assessed globally for sustainability performance, marking a step forward in the company’s approach to sustainable operations.
The EcoVadis assessment evaluates companies across four categories: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Giti Tire‘s second consecutive Platinum rating proves that its sustainability initiatives are not only in place but also consistently improving.
Francois Petiot, Director of the International QA Centre, acknowledged the significance of maintaining the top-tier rating. “Reaching the top is difficult, but staying at the top of the mountain is even harder. This achievement shows not only our commitment to sustainability, responsible business practices, and continuous improvement, but also the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved,” he said.
