Continental’s Commitment to Quality Starts Even from Before Productions

Continental has been voted “Germany’s Quality Winner 2025” by consumers in the car tyre category. The award was presented by the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ), in collaboration with the news channel n-tv.

More than 45,000 consumers across the country were asked for their opinions about 560 brands and companies from 66 sectors and, in the car tyre category, Continental was voted as the best brand.

Continental commits to protecting its products’ quality even before they are launched on the market. The company nowadays develops tyres using its simulator located in Contidrom, near Hanover, Germany. This simulator enables Continental to develop new tyre models faster without wasting too much raw materials. It also conducts real-life tests, including tests on various road surfaces, weather conditions, and driving situations.

After a model is finalised, Continental will move to select high-quality materials before producing the tyres using automated processes. Following that process, an inspection will be conducted according to a strict quality control standard. Continental‘s commitment does not stop there. It also incorporates customer feedback and market analysis to keep improving the quality of the next generation’s tyres.

Prior to being named Germany’s Quality Winner 2025, Continental has also enjoyed success in various independent tests. Its products consistently receive top ratings from organisations like the ADAC, as well as trade magazines like Auto Bild and Auto Zeitung.

For this year, the SportContact 7 has been Continental‘s best product. In eight tests, it was named test winner seven times, including by the ADAC and Auto Bild Sportscars. Meanwhile, another product, the PremiumContact 7, was named the winner of the summer tyre test by British magazine Tyre Reviews.
