The cover story in this month’s issue features a profile of Tayarlo, the Ultra-High Performance (UHP) tyre wholesaler that provides on-demand delivery services to tyre dealers in the Klang Valley. The company invites dealers to use their buying power to be more competitive in handling a complex product mix.
There are also product related updates on Toyo’s Proxes CR1 – the OE tyre for the all-new Perodua Alza, and Yokohama Rubber’s latest OE fitments on the new Mazda CX-60, whilst for the commercial side, we have a feature on Apollo Tyres revamped mining tyre range. For the retreading side, we have news on Vipal Rubber’s latest innovation in envelopes.
We also have a special report on the various tyre brands that took part in the recently concluded IAA Transportation 2022. These include articles on Michelin Mobility Solutions, Westlake’s WTR2 and WTX2 tyre, Goodyear’s demonstration truck tyre made of 63 per cent sustainable materials, Michelin new partnership with MAN ProfiDrive, and Prometeon’s innovative new 325/90 R 24.5 tyre size.
Besides that, there are also event and training articles, which is a good sign that the market has regained its vitality.
