Jeb Auto Ready to Invade Automotive Aftermarket

Jeb Auto Sdn Bhd, the leading auto anti-vibration (automotive rubber parts) company in Malaysia that is continuing its expansion plan in the country’s automotive aftermarket, is targeting to invade the aftermarket globally.

According to Chiew Teng Hin, Senior General Manager of Jeb Auto, the company is a subsidiary of Kumpulan Jebco Sdn Bhd, a leading regional manufacturer and developer of Anti-Vibration Systems for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in the automotive, railway and industrial sectors with more than 40 years’ experience. Jeb Auto was established to target the automotive aftermarket.

“Jeb Auto has been growing steadily in the past 5 years in the aftermarket and our in-house brand called ‘Jeb’ has been well accepted in the market. The range of auto anti-vibration parts under Jeb brand includes engine mounting, absorber mounting, suspension lower arm, bump stop, rubber bushing and more,” said Chiew.

He explained that to stay competitive, Jeb Auto continued to offer quality rubber parts to the aftermarket with affordable prices. Meanwhile, the company would continue to develop spare-parts for the best-selling vehicles to meet market demand.

In its recent participation in Automechanika Kuala Lumpur (AMKL) 2017, Jeb Auto met with some potential international automotive distributors. Speaking at the AMKL, the company’s Head of Business Development, Yei Cheah Tick, said: “Going forward, our goal is to expand our footprint worldwide and establish Jeb as a quality and reliable brand. At the same time, our products would provide a more cost-effective solution to the market compared to OEM parts.”

“The automotive aftermarket is a vibrant market and we definitely see a lot of growth opportunities for us in the coming year. Besides the ASEAN countries, we are trying to penetrate some of the Middle East and Europe countries as well. This year, we are going to participate in the international automotive exhibition in several countries such as Indonesia, Taiwan, Dubai, Vietnam, Philippines, Russia, and China,” said Yei.
