Bridgestone Wins 2020 Regional Overall Outstanding Performance

Bridgestone won the 2020 Regional Overall Outstanding Performance Award at Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd.’s for the second time. 

Bridgestone Wins the Award Again

Bridgestone Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, a global leader in sustainable mobility and advanced solutions, has won the 2020 Regional Overall Outstanding Performance Award at Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd.’s (TDEM) Annual Supplier Awards. This is the second time Bridgestone is receiving this award, the last time being in 2014.

The award was presented by Apinot Suchewaboripont, Executive Vice President of TDEM to Keiji Chuma, Managing Director of Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd. at the award ceremony held at TDEM’s head office in Thailand on 23rd March 2021.

The TDEM Supplier Awards is organized annually by TDEM to give recognition to its suppliers in the ASEAN region. A total of 10 awards were given out to both local and regional suppliers based on their performance in various aspects such as Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Development. Bridgestone clinched the most prestigious Regional Overall Outstanding Performance Award for showing strong support towards Toyota’s activities across the region through its extensive sales, manufacturing, and service network in the ASEAN region.
