BFGoodRich Advantage Touring Targets Active Lifestyle Drivers

Backed by 150 years of its brand credibility with a rich history of on-road tyres, BFGoodrich recently launched BFGoodrich Advantage Touring for sedans, pick-ups, minivans and CUV/SUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle/Sport Utility Vehicle) fitment.

Michelin Malaysia Managing Director Oliver Biggart said: “The BFGoodrich Advantage Touring targets active lifestyle drivers who want the best value for their money and demand confident control for urban adventure. This newly launched tyre stands out with its extensive size offerings as well as improved performance and aesthetics. What’s more, it also comes with a six-year manufacturer’s warranty, offering users real value with premium quality.”

The key features of the BFGoodrich Advantage Touring include improved aesthetics and noise performance, thanks to a new, dynamic and simplified tread design. An asymmetric, non-directional tread pattern with computer-optimised footprint reduces interior cabin noise. Confident handling and braking in all conditions are achieved with an asymmetric tread design featuring rigid tread blocks and a shoulder that enables responsive handling and control. Its large tread blocks with deep grooves, which deliver ‘exceptional’ braking performance in wet and dry road conditions, complement a tyre sculpture inspired by BFGoodrich on-road racing.

Also worth mentioning is its full depth features that provide driving confidence over the tyre life. The use of an interlocking band technology reduces friction and heat, resulting in better fuel consumption. It also has an optimised contact patch specifically designed for markets with severe heat conditions.

Available in 67 dimensions (including 30 new sizes), the BFGoodrich Advantage Touring caters to more than 85 per cent of the market.  It includes H-, T- and V-speed rated options in the 13- to 20-inch range.
