Netzwelt‘s summer tyre test awards the Linglong Comfort Master a Good rating and Best Value label after a strong second-place overall finish.
Linglong Comfort Master Ranks Second Overall With 97.8% Score
German online publication Netzwelt has awarded the Linglong Comfort Master a “Good” overall rating following its impressive performance during the summer tyre test conducted in size 205/55 R16 91V.
Tested against five competitors, including those of premium brands, the Comfort Master ranked second overall with a total score of 97.8 per cent. In this test, the test winner’s overall score serves as a benchmark of 100 per cent.
The Linglong Comfort Master performed considerably well in dry and wet braking. In dry braking, it recorded 36.1 metres compared to the test winner’s 35.2 metres, scoring 97.5 per cent in that discipline. In wet braking, the tyre achieved a score of 97.9 per cent after recording a braking distance of 48.1 metres, just behind the test winner’s 47.1 metres. As a result, the Comfort Master received an overall grade of 2.2, translating to a “Good” rating, as well as a “Best Value” designation for best price-performance ratio.
All tyres in the test were purchased anonymously and evaluated using high-precision technology, according to Linglong Tire Europe. The manufacturer highlighted the outcome as evidence that the performance gap between Chinese manufacturers and established European brands is narrowing in measurable terms.
The Linglong Comfort Master is available in 80 sizes, from 13 to 17 inches.
