Malaysian Car Sales Grow
On 20th July, the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) announced that new car sales for the first half of 2023 increased 10.3 per cent to 366, 037 units.

Passenger Car Sales Down From 57, 272 Units

This, according to the association, was due to the delivery of backlog orders.

For the month of June, new car sales fell by 1.7 per cent to 62, 569 units against the same month in 2022. Passenger car sales were down from 57, 272 units in 2022 to 55,692 units, a reduction of 2.8 per cent.
