Effective 1 July 2025, Michelin has appointed Florentin Odenwald as the new Managing Director for Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, succeeding Prichapakorn Dangrojana, who has taken up a new role with the Group in France.

Odenwald brings with him extensive global experience and a strong commercial strategy background.
Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of Global Automotive OE Sales, managing relationships with over 25 global customers and playing a key role on Michelin’s Automotive Executive Committee. His career includes leading strategic growth and fostering partnerships with major automotive brands such as Porsche, Mercedes AMG, BMW, Volkswagen, Hyundai, and Tesla.
In his new role, Odenwald will lead Michelin’s strategy, operations, and growth in the three markets, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement. He will also continue to serve on Michelin’s Asia-Pacific regional leadership team.
“Being part of the APAC regional leadership team provides me with a holistic view of the opportunities and challenges for the brand across the region. Fueled by these learnings, my aspiration is to position Michelin as a leader in sustainability and innovation across Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, while demonstrating that we are more than just a tire company.
