Yokohama Rubber‘s Advan V61 summer tyre in size 235/60R18 103H has been selected to be the original equipment (OE) for the new GAC Toyota Wildlander SUV in China.
As Advan brand’s premium SUV tyre, the V61 is designed to provide fuel efficiency, handling stability, and low noise across urban and long-distance driving in heavyweight SUVs. The tyre carries Yokohama‘s proprietary E+ sidewall marking, indicating its suitability for electric vehicles and hybrids.
The Advan V61 was developed using Yokohama‘s HAICoLab framework, an AI-assisted development platform that combines human creativity with AI data processing to accelerate tyre engineering and innovation.
Before being selected for the GAC Toyota Wildlander, the Advan V61 had been supplied to numerous premium SUVs. In 2025, Yokohama expanded its availability to the replacement market by adding more sizes.
