Automechanika Shanghai, in its 18th edition from 29th November to 2nd December, 2023 will feature more than 5,300 exhibitors across 300,000 sqm at the National Exhibition and Conversion Center in Shanghai.

This globally renowned automotive industry platforms remains committed to fostering business growth and addressing market shifts.

A significant highlight of the event is the inaugural International Automotive Industry Conference 2023 Presented by Automechanika Shanghai. This conference will feature industry experts and thought leaders from around the world discussing rapid technological advancements and the automotive market landscape.

Key topics at the conference include the rise of new energy vehicles (NEV), electrification, digitalisation, and their impact on the industry. Collaboration opportunities between countries and regions and market challenges will also be explored.

The main conference, taking place on November 29, will be moderated by Dr. Qing Ding, Founding Partner of Shentou Capital. Speakers from leading auto parts companies will analyze import and export trends of vehicles and automotive components.

Other topics covered include global business strategies of tier one suppliers, upgrading businesses under electrification and digitalization, and the long-term transformation of the global automotive supply chain.

On 29th November, the New Energy Vehicle Sustainable Development Forum will focus on NEV development and its role in transformation and decarbonisation. Topics include lithium battery applications, the hydrogen vehicle value chain, and developments in European charging stations.

Besides that, the conference also includes the International Summit of Connected-Vehicle Policies and Regulations on 29th November and the China International Tyre Industry Conference on 1st December.
