Hankook Tire & Technology has been selected as the original equipment (OE) tyre supplier for the latest all-electric Porsche Macan, reinforcing its role as a key partner to leading performance carmakers.
Ventus S1 evo3 ev Optimised for EV Range, Grip & Stability
The vehicle rolls out with Hankook’s Ventus S1 evo3 ev summer tyres, fitted in sizes 235/55R20Y XL at the front and 285/45R20Y XL at the rear, marked with the Porsche-specific “NE0” designation.
Developed specifically for high-performance electric vehicles, the Ventus S1 evo3 ev ensures optimal power delivery and driving stability, even under the intense torque demands of the electric Macan. The specially engineered tread compound helps transfer the vehicle’s impressive power to the road with confidence while maintaining excellent range through reduced rolling resistance.

The Ventus S1 evo3 ev brings a host of benefits tailored to the electric Macan. Its wide and stable centre tread block enhances grip on both dry and wet surfaces, while the abrasion-resistant compound is tuned to withstand the high levels of acceleration that characterise electric vehicles.
The tyre also contributes to acoustic comfort, an important consideration for EVs, by reducing road noise that might otherwise be more noticeable due to the absence of engine sound. Its refined tread design helps ensure a quieter and more comfortable in-cabin experience.
Engineered for EV-specific demands, the tyre incorporates a reinforced carcass using high-performance fibres to manage the vehicle’s weight of around 2.4 tonnes. Aramid hybrid cords help limit tread deformation at high speeds, enhancing lateral stability during cornering and quick lane changes—critical attributes for a performance SUV like the Macan.
